Winstanley Medical Centre’s first coffee afternoon

The team at Winstanley Medical Centre threw their first ever Open Tea and Coffee afternoon for patients. Designed as a safe place for patients to come for a chat, talk about their day, life stories and discussions about the practice.
The inaugural event had over a dozen attendees including local councillors keen to see how the practice is hoping to battle loneliness and keep the strong sense of community that makes all staff and patients proud.
Due to the success of our last meeting, the patients recommended another afternoon next month to reconnect.
